Having a geek for a husband can be frustrating at times, but when it comes to building a new stable block, the advantages far outweigh those frustrations.
Each stable has its own personal smart systems which feed back key information, allowing us to provide the ultimate tailored care
From monitoring their daily water use, to keeping an eye on their stable temperature and even warning us if it is going to be a particularly cold night.
The ambient air is monitored in the block and if it becomes too hot or humid the extractor fans are turned on to draw cool fresh air in.
That is without mentioning all the ways it allows us to reduce our energy needs and helps to be a responsible, environmentally friendly, low carbon business.
All of these wonderful systems aside, nothing beats being able to see your horse and make sensible decisions based on how they actually feel, ultimately no system can beat years of experience. That is why we have multiple CCTV cameras covering everything from their stables to the paddocks. This not only allows us to keep an eye on them when we are not in the stables, but also when we are in the house or away and believe me, it can be addictive.
You will also have access to cameras covering all the areas your horse is in. This not only gives you that peace of mind, but also provides transparency in our care.
So, you can rest assured we will always do our best for your baby, and even when you are not here, you can feel like you are.
Water Monitoring
Each stable has an automatic water drinker. These are individually monitored and recorded. This allows us to monitor their water intake for changes and you to log in and do the same.
Temperature Monitoring
Each stable has an individual temperature probe. These are individually monitored and recorded. This allows us to monitor their individual stable temperature and you to log in and do the same.
It also monitors the weather and warns us if it is going to be excessively hot or cold so we can take appropriate action.
CCTV
The whole yard, paddocks, individual stables and even the isolation stable are covered by cameras. We use this to keep an eye on your precious horses whether we are in the office, house or away from the yard. You also have access to be able to check in any time. Or just to see how they are settling in to their new home.
